MAKE SOMETHING MONDAY- We will be making a big bowl of Glitter Slime. You can mix it up with a new craft to make, recipe to try or place to go each week to keep the excitement going. Using the template I created for each day, here is a suggestion for a specific activity to do each day of the week. Here is an example of the template I used for what our first week of summer will look like as we follow this outline – For our Senior Campers we offer 2 Club Periods (electives) daily and our Intermediate Campers enjoy a once daily Club (elective). Simply use a dry-erase marker to write the activity you have planned each day so your kids know exactly what to expect! A typical day at Camp Robin Hood includes 5 distinct activity periods including athletics, intensives, inter-camp activities, special events & trips. 9:00 Assembly (Singing and announcements maybe a performance by the Camp Band) 9:30 Activities. You can frame it or laminate it and stick it to your fridge. When you’re not on a trip, most days look like this: 7:45 Wake-up. Today we are sharing this free printable summer schedule for kids that you to download and print. It gives the kids something to look forward to each day and it definitely adds variety to our week! We’ve used this summer schedule for my children every summer for the past several years. Summer is just around the corner and I am so ready for it!! I love the lazy days at home with my kids – crazy, messy house and all! Today I’m sharing one of the tricks I keep up my sleeve to bust the boredom that every family seems to experience. With this fun summer schedule you are now prepared for every time one of your kids says those dreaded three words “ Mom, I’m Bored“. Special events, trips, and rainy days may cause variations in the schedule. That’s why I came up with this fun, daily summer schedule for kids to give us something enjoyable we can do together each day! Sample Daily Schedule and Activities On a typical day in our Traditional Camps, our campers will follow a schedule similar to the one listed below. Entertaining kids while they’re home during the summer can sometimes be challenging. Daily Schedule 6:00pm, Dinner 7:15pm, Cabin Activity Period 3 8:30pm, Bedtime Routine for Younger Campers Cabin Activity Period 4 for Older Campers 9:30pm.
